Emmanuel Alliance Church of Ottawa Seeks Mandarin Pastor
Emmanuel Alliance Church of Ottawa is located in Nepean, a western suburb of Ottawa, the capital of Canada. It is a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Canada. The church’s Pastoral Recruitment Committee is now recruiting a full time pastor for the Mandarin Congregation.
A brief history of the Emmanuel Alliance Church of Ottawa
In 1989, the Ottawa Chinese Evangelistic Association planted a church in the Kanata community in the west end of the city. At that time, about seven Cantonese-speaking families participated. In 1995, God led the church to move to its current location. Beginning in 1996, the Mandarin gospel ministry began to develop. Now, the church carries out evangelistic work in three languages (Cantonese, English, and Mandarin), and has active children and youth ministries. The total attendance of Sunday worship is about 350 people, and the Mandarin Congregation is about 120 people.
We are looking for a pastor who loves the church, has a clear experience of being called to pastor the church, is willing to shepherd the church, and is willing to grow with the church. He loves to study the Bible and loves teaching and preaching that connects with practical life. He has a special burden for the gospel needs of the young generation in their twenties and thirties, understands them, and is willing to evangelize, care for, and disciple them.

- Agree with the doctrine and statement of faith of C&MA (Canadian Missionary Alliance) (see: https://thealliancecanada.ca/)
